JM Construction is awarded the design and construction of the Davis Project. The house was a burn down and JM Construction is working with the owners to re-build a new house in Oak Shores. We should be breaking ground sometime in the first quarter of 2011
JM Construction is awarded a beautification award from the City Of San Luis Obispo’s Chamber of Commerce. General Contractor = J.M. Construction, Inc. Architect = Hamrick and Associates. Property Owner = Quarterhorse Equities LLC. We remodeled the 10 apartments upstairs as well as beautifying the exterior of the building. All the work was done while the retail tenants remained open downstairs during construction.
JM Construction changes their aluminum dock / marina dealership to a supplier that is located in Georgia. Because of our constant desire to provide the highest quality products to our clients we found it necessary to change aluminum dock suppliers. The manufacturer builds the highest quality docks and marinas for us to assemble. We are always looking for the best products to provide to our clients.
JM Construction starts building aluminum docks. We became local dealers and distributors for a dock manufacturer located in Alabama. Due to the maintenance of wood docks and the decrease in aluminum costs we found that we could offer our clients a longer lasting dock that would save them in maintenance and replacement costs. We were also able to reduce our labor time which allowed us to build more docks.
JM Construction starts working for General Motors. We were performing all of GM’s construction needs on their west coast headquarters in Thousand Oaks and their dealerships in Southern California.
JM Construction adds Docks and Marinas to their area of expertise. With Mark Marshall having a degree in Civil Engineering, JM Construction is able to add the classification of A (General Engineering) to the companies California Contractors License. The first docks and marinas that JM Construction built were made out of wood with galvanized hardware. This type of dock construction was typical on Lake Nacimiento in 1995
Jim Marshall Construction changes name to J.M. Constuction. Jim Marshall’s son Mark Marshall graduates from the University of Southern California with a Building of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Mark Marshall starts working with his father Jim Marshall on the monday after graduation and is made a corporate partner.
Jim Marshall opens a 2nd Construction Office on the Central Coast of California. Located in Oak Shores on Lake Nacimiento Jim Marshall Construction starts building houses on and around Lake Nacimiento, California.
